Five Foundations of a Frontend Platform

In our practice of Frontend Platform Engineering, we've identified key foundational areas for Frontend Platforms to develop. That doesn't mean you always need to work on all of these areas in order to call it a Frontend Platform. After all, it's part of a larger Internal Development Platform. And Internal Development Platforms are different for every organisation implementing it.

As a rule of thumb, we advise organisations to look into these Five Foundations of a Frontend Platform:
